Stores which fall into matching demographics for the ideal reader will be encouraged to stock a healthy supply on their shelves for impulse sales. An example might be a romantic mystery sold from a store near a beach resort, or perhaps from a hotel's giftshop.
Books will be grouped and promoted on a broader demographic sampling as well. For example, titles that deal with investments, real estate and retirement issues will find their readers in southern, coastal areas of the country. There are specialty booksellers, such as those which carry only mysteries; we will group our presentation accordingly.
Along those same lines, when an author is participating in the Expanded Presentation and they should notify us that they will be travelling over the summer, for example, on a northern route from Washington to Wisconsin, we will work to set up booksignings along that path to coordinate with their schedules.
Bulk purchases by large companies for product support use of the book will also fall into this category. An example might be that their typical customer would be your ideal reader. They could then make a bulk purchase of the book and offer it as incentive to purchase a specified dollar value of merchandise from their store.
